ANGREZI GURU — LEGAL

Privacy Policy

A comprehensive framework for learner, visitor, payment, learning and communications data.

Group Scope. For these policies, “Angrezi Guru Group” means Angrezi Guru; davidlinus.com and the David Conrad Linus / David Linus public-speaking, coaching and communication offerings; theglobalspeakerscircle.com and The Global Speakers Circle; Angrezi Guru Connect; and associated brands, products, programs, services, websites, applications and learning initiatives operated under or through David Linus Learning and Development, together with their lawful owners, administrators, trainers, contractors, representatives and service providers where the context permits. This definition does not create a separate legal entity, partnership or agency where none otherwise exists.

Maximum Lawful Effect. These provisions are intended to allocate risk and limit liability to the maximum extent lawfully permitted. Nothing in this document excludes, restricts, waives or overrides a right, remedy, warranty, duty or liability that applicable law makes mandatory or prohibits the parties from excluding. Where a limitation conflicts with mandatory law, it will apply only to the maximum lawful extent and the remainder will continue in effect.

1. Scope and Controller Context

This Privacy Policy explains how the Angrezi Guru Group handles personal information across enquiries, websites, PWAs, learning platforms, CRM systems, communications, assessments, payments, classes, events and residential services.

2. Information You Provide

This may include name, email, phone/WhatsApp number, city/state/country, age or date-of-birth information where necessary, parent/guardian information where applicable, program choices, messages, forms, learning preferences and support requests.

3. Learning and Academic Data

This may include CEFR level, assessment attempts, answers, scores, flagged questions, attendance, progress, assignments, certificates, learning history, feedback and enrolment entitlements.

4. Payment and Transaction Data

The Angrezi Guru Group may process transaction IDs, payment status, amount, currency, program, receipt information and reconciliation records. Sensitive card/bank credentials should remain with authorised payment providers and should not be stored by the PWA.

5. Technical and Security Data

Systems may process IP address, browser/device information, logs, timestamps, session information, security events and cookie/local-storage data reasonably necessary for security, performance and user experience.

6. Communications Data

Emails, support messages, WhatsApp interactions, call notes and other service communications may be retained where reasonably necessary for support, enrolment, quality, consent, dispute handling and legitimate records.

7. Purposes

Information may be used to answer enquiries, determine suitable programs, enrol learners, provide learning and assessments, manage attendance and progress, verify payments, issue receipts/certificates, provide support, secure systems, prevent abuse, improve services and comply with law.

8. Legal Bases and Consent

Processing should rely on an appropriate lawful basis under applicable law, including contract, legal obligation, legitimate operational need or consent where consent is required. Consent-based processing may be withdrawn prospectively where applicable.

9. Marketing and Preferences

Marketing should respect applicable consent and opt-out requirements. Transactional, security, enrolment and service messages may still be sent where necessary even when optional marketing is declined.

10. Connected Systems

Angrezi Guru may connect the PWA with AGLP, Education CRM, AGO One and related authorised systems so that enrolment, learning, support, communications, receipts and entitlements can operate as one learner journey.

11. Service Providers

Information may be shared with trusted providers supporting hosting, cloud infrastructure, payments, communications, email, video conferencing, analytics, security and other necessary functions, subject to appropriate contractual and legal safeguards.

12. International Processing

Some technology providers may process information in other jurisdictions. Appropriate safeguards should be used where required by applicable law.

13. Data Minimisation

Only information reasonably necessary for the stated educational, contractual, security, administrative or legal purpose should be collected and used.

14. Retention

Retention depends on the purpose, contractual period, learning record, certificate requirements, accounting/tax obligations, security needs, dispute limitation periods and legal requirements. Data no longer needed should be deleted, anonymised or securely archived as appropriate.

15. Security

Reasonable organisational and technical safeguards should include role-based access, secure password hashing, least-privilege access, backups, logging, secure transport and appropriate administrative controls.

16. Passwords and Authentication

Existing passwords must not be displayed or retrievable. Password recovery should use secure reset links, OTPs or comparable verification. Users remain responsible for protecting their credentials.

17. Children's and Minors' Data

Where a learner is a minor, age-appropriate protections and parent/guardian consent or involvement should be used where required by law.

18. Learner Rights

Subject to applicable law, users may have rights to access, correction, updating, deletion, withdrawal of consent, grievance handling and other statutory rights.

19. Data Deletion

Deletion requests are handled under the Data Deletion Policy. Some records may lawfully need to be retained for accounting, fraud prevention, certificates, contractual records, disputes or legal obligations.

20. Automated and Assessment Processing

Automated scoring or recommendation features may be used for educational purposes. Material decisions should include appropriate review where required by law or program design.

21. Cookies and Local Storage

The PWA may use browser storage or similar technologies for preferences, currency choice, sessions, offline functionality and security. Users can clear browser storage, though doing so may affect functionality.

22. External Websites

External websites and platforms have independent privacy practices. This Policy does not control information processed solely by an unrelated third party.

23. Breach Response

Where a qualifying personal-data breach occurs, the Angrezi Guru Group should investigate, mitigate and provide notices required by applicable law.

24. Policy Changes

This Policy may be updated as services, systems or law evolve. Material changes should be communicated as appropriate.

25. Privacy Contact

Privacy and data-rights requests may be sent to support@angreziguru.com.
