ANGREZI GURU — LEGAL

Terms of Service

Comprehensive terms governing the Angrezi Guru Group's educational, digital, coaching, community and residential services.

Group Scope. For these policies, “Angrezi Guru Group” means Angrezi Guru; davidlinus.com and the David Conrad Linus / David Linus public-speaking, coaching and communication offerings; theglobalspeakerscircle.com and The Global Speakers Circle; Angrezi Guru Connect; and associated brands, products, programs, services, websites, applications and learning initiatives operated under or through David Linus Learning and Development, together with their lawful owners, administrators, trainers, contractors, representatives and service providers where the context permits. This definition does not create a separate legal entity, partnership or agency where none otherwise exists.

Maximum Lawful Effect. These provisions are intended to allocate risk and limit liability to the maximum extent lawfully permitted. Nothing in this document excludes, restricts, waives or overrides a right, remedy, warranty, duty or liability that applicable law makes mandatory or prohibits the parties from excluding. Where a limitation conflicts with mandatory law, it will apply only to the maximum lawful extent and the remainder will continue in effect.

1. Scope, Acceptance and Contract Formation

These Terms govern access to and use of the Angrezi Guru Group's public websites, PWAs, learning platforms, assessments, communications, classes, coaching, events, communities, residential programs, internships, digital materials, enrolment and support services. A separate enrolment form, order confirmation, invoice, residential undertaking, event rule or written program condition may supplement these Terms. If there is a conflict, mandatory law prevails, followed by the more specific written program term for that service.

2. Eligibility, Capacity and Minors

Users must have legal capacity to enter the relevant transaction. Where a learner is a minor or applicable law requires parental/guardian authority, the parent or lawful guardian may be required to consent, provide information, sign undertakings and remain responsible for obligations lawfully attributable to them.

3. Educational Nature of Services

Services are educational, training, coaching, community and informational services. They are not legal, medical, psychological, financial, investment, immigration, recruitment, employment-placement or other regulated professional advice unless a separately qualified professional expressly provides such service under separate terms.

4. No Guarantee of Fluency, Certification or Outcomes

Language development is individual. No representation, curriculum, timetable, trainer statement, assessment, certificate, testimonial, advertisement, salary illustration or learner story guarantees fluency, a particular CEFR level within a fixed period, examination result, employment, income, salary increase, promotion, admission, scholarship, visa, immigration result, business outcome, social result or third-party decision.

5. Learner Effort and Personal Responsibility

Learners remain responsible for attendance, punctuality, practice, assignments, participation, suitable study conditions, devices, connectivity, preparation, conduct, following instructions and decisions made using what they learn. Results can vary materially.

6. Program Descriptions and Reasonable Changes

The Angrezi Guru Group may reasonably update curricula, lesson sequence, schedules, trainers, classrooms, venues, digital platforms, technology, assessments, activities, facilities, batch composition and operational arrangements for educational, safety, technical or administrative reasons, provided the essential nature of a paid service is not materially removed without an appropriate remedy required by law.

7. Availability, Capacity and Admissions

Programs, batches, seats, residential places, trainers and dates are subject to availability and eligibility. Submission of an enquiry, application or payment attempt does not guarantee admission until accepted and payment is verified.

8. Fees, Taxes and Currency

Fees are those displayed or confirmed for the applicable product, location, currency and plan at the relevant time. Taxes, gateway charges, bank charges and foreign-exchange costs may apply where permitted and disclosed. Currency conversion by a bank or payment provider is outside the Angrezi Guru Group's control.

9. Early Bird and Promotional Pricing

Early Bird eligibility follows the published program rule and start date. For courses of three months or less, the standard Early Bird window is up to one month before start. For programs of one year or more, it is up to three months before start. Promotions may have separate written eligibility, capacity and expiry conditions.

10. Payment Verification and Fraud Prevention

A transaction is not final merely because a browser shows success. Enrolment, receipt, access or entitlement may depend on gateway confirmation, reconciliation, fraud screening and successful settlement. Suspicious, reversed, disputed, duplicated or unauthorised transactions may be held, cancelled or investigated.

11. Refunds, Credits, Transfers and Chargebacks

Refunds, credits and transfers are governed by the Refund Policy, specific program terms and mandatory law. Users should contact support before initiating a chargeback so legitimate billing or service issues can be investigated. Nothing prevents a lawful payment dispute right.

12. LIVE Online Services

Learners are responsible for compatible devices, electricity, internet and a suitable environment. Third-party connectivity or platform outages may affect delivery. Reasonable alternatives may include rescheduling, replacement sessions or another delivery method.

13. OFFLINE In-Person Services

Learners must follow venue, attendance, conduct, safety and property rules. Unless expressly included, travel, meals, accommodation, devices and personal expenses are the learner's responsibility.

14. Residential Services

Residential participation may require separate admissions, health/emergency, guardian, conduct, leave, visitor, accommodation, boarding, safety and property undertakings. The Global English Academy™ core fee includes tuition, lodging and full boarding as expressly defined in its admissions package. Optional or additional products, services, activities and charges are à la carte unless expressly included.

15. Optional Internship

Any supervised teaching internship is separate from the 12-month residential program and begins only after successful completion of the residential year, subject to eligibility, availability and separate internship rules. Participation does not guarantee employment, remuneration or future engagement unless a written agreement expressly says so.

16. Private Coaching

Private coaching is scheduled subject to coach availability and booking rules. Session validity, lateness, rescheduling, cancellation and unused-hour conditions may be specified at purchase. Coaching outcomes remain dependent on learner participation and circumstances.

17. Assessments and Certificates

Tests and assessments are educational measures and may be updated, moderated, corrected or invalidated where technical error, integrity concerns or content defects are identified. Certificates evidence the stated Angrezi Guru achievement only and do not represent a government degree, licence or professional qualification unless expressly stated.

18. Acceptable Use and Conduct

Users must not harass, threaten, discriminate, disrupt classes, impersonate others, cheat, scrape content, interfere with systems, bypass access controls, upload malware, misuse personal data or use services unlawfully. Reasonable disciplinary action may include warnings, restricted participation, suspension or termination subject to applicable terms and law.

19. Accounts and Credentials

Users are responsible for safeguarding passwords, OTPs and access links. Accounts are personal unless expressly designated otherwise. The Angrezi Guru Group may require identity or account verification where reasonably necessary for security, payments, certificates or recovery.

20. Intellectual Property

Branding, curricula, lesson plans, assessments, software, text, graphics, videos, recordings, templates, methodologies and other materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. A learner receives only a limited personal right to use materials for the enrolled learning purpose unless written permission grants more.

21. Recordings, Publicity and Learner Content

Recording classes, learners or trainers is prohibited unless authorised. Where photographs, testimonials, recordings or learner-created content are proposed for publicity, appropriate consent should be obtained where required. A learner's ordinary participation does not automatically grant unrestricted commercial publicity rights.

22. Third-Party Services and External Links

The Angrezi Guru Group may use or link to independent hosting, payment, messaging, video, email, analytics, social, cloud and other services. Those providers have their own terms and privacy practices. The Angrezi Guru Group is not responsible for an independent provider's acts, omissions, outages or content beyond the extent required by law.

23. Cybersecurity and Availability

Reasonable security measures are used, but no internet service can guarantee uninterrupted availability or absolute security. Users should maintain secure devices and avoid sharing credentials. Planned maintenance, attacks, outages and events outside reasonable control may temporarily affect services.

24. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, aggregate liability arising from a particular paid service will not exceed the amount actually paid to the relevant Angrezi Guru Group service for the specific affected service giving rise to the claim. This cap does not apply where applicable law prohibits such limitation.

25. Exclusion of Indirect Loss

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Angrezi Guru Group is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential losses, or loss of opportunity, anticipated income, profits, business, reputation, data or expected benefit, except where such exclusion is unlawful.

26. Assumption of Ordinary Risks

Learners voluntarily participate in educational, speaking, group, event and, where applicable, residential activities and accept ordinary risks inherent in such participation. This does not waive liability that cannot lawfully be waived, including any non-excludable duty imposed by law.

27. Indemnity for User Misconduct

To the extent permitted by law, a user will indemnify the Angrezi Guru Group for third-party claims and reasonable losses directly caused by the user's unlawful conduct, fraud, infringement, malicious system misuse, unauthorised publication, or material breach of these Terms.

28. Force Majeure

The Angrezi Guru Group is not liable for delay or non-performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disaster, epidemic, war, civil disturbance, government action, widespread utility or internet failure, labour disruption, transport disruption or comparable events, subject to remedies required by law.

29. Suspension and Termination

Access may be suspended or terminated for material breach, non-payment, fraud, safety risk, unlawful activity or serious misconduct. Where appropriate and legally required, reasonable notice or an opportunity to remedy may be provided.

30. Complaints and Good-Faith Resolution

Users should first raise concerns through support@angreziguru.com with sufficient details to investigate. The parties should attempt good-faith resolution before escalation, without restricting any statutory complaint or legal remedy.

31. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are intended to operate under applicable laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer jurisdiction and other non-waivable rules, disputes may be subject to competent courts having jurisdiction in Bihar, India.

32. Severability, Waiver and Entire Understanding

An invalid provision will be narrowed or severed to the minimum necessary without invalidating the remainder. Failure to enforce a provision once is not a permanent waiver. These Terms, together with incorporated policies and specific written enrolment terms, form the applicable contractual framework.

33. Changes to Terms

Terms may be updated prospectively for legal, operational, security or service reasons. Material changes affecting an existing paid service should be handled consistently with applicable law and the learner's existing contractual rights.

34. Contact and Notices

Legal, contractual and support communications may be sent to support@angreziguru.com. Users are responsible for keeping their registered contact information reasonably current.
